Today I decided to make a post about the huge Redfish that Pam caught this October!

We caught this massive fish while fishing for Snook in Blind Pass, it took us about ten minutes to reel this monster in!

There are still some shiners & baitfish around Sanibel & Captiva in the passes and on the beach at times, but it is tough finding them.

We’ve moved mostly to casting shrimp.  If you have good bait, the fishing has been great!!!

There are still some smallish snook to be caught.  Folks are pulling out a snook here and there when fishing for redfish or black drum in the passes.

The water temperature has cooled, but it is not too bad.  The weather in general has been beautiful.  Highs in the low ’80s.
