We are starting to work Captiva and Boca Grande Passes for tarpon.

The first photo is of a  250+ lb. tarpon that Jimmy Burnsed, my cousin, caught last year right about now.

The second photo is of a tarpon jumping.

In early April, we went out with Grandma Jan and caught a nice flounder.

Jan tells me that they had a terrific family meal with that delicious and fresh fish as the entree!

Over the last few days we have been catching snook, tarpon, shark, redfish and mackerel!

Backup boat is in the water and we’re rolling with charters again!

Today we caught Sea Trout, Ladyfish and these two Redfish.

We caught them on a sandbar inshore of Captiva.

We have boat back on the water today!  Still working on the engine on my main baot.

We also caught our first tarpon of the year last week!  A 85 + pounder caught off the rocks in Blind Pass!
