Monday, 6/16/14, today’s Captiva fishing charter: tarpon, Boca Grande Pass.

The tarpon were unbelievably thick and were rolling seemingly continuously when we first got to Boca Grande this morning.

It was quite the site.

The tarpon were harder to hook than one have thought at first look.  Hooked three and brought one 140-150lb. tarpon to the boat for a leader touch!
