We caught a bunch of redfish both in the morning and late evening yesterday!

It was cold and windy but we persevered and made the most of it!

The redfish were biting on the oyster bars on the bay side of Blind Pass and on drifts in Blind Pass.  We also caught a very big sea trout on the oyster bars in the evening.  We quit when we couldn’t see where we were casting!  🙂

We’re eating redfish and turkey for Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

We caught some nice redfish on the oyster bars on the bay side of Blind Pass with Charlie and Tim!

The wind and cold were tough, but we hunkered down and caught and released about ten redfish between 7:30 and 8:30 AM.

We also caught some ladyfish, sea trout and mackerel in the sea grass of off Redfish Pass. We did very well considering the weather!

The good news is the wind has blown the red tide away.   The bad news is that wind has been cold the last several days!  Hank is hiding down under the deck to stay warm!!!

Huge Redfish caught at the Blind Pass rock wall on Sanibel & Captiva charters!

On today’s charter we went to Blind Pass!

At first, we were drifting with the outgoing tide catching Flounder, some small Snook, and a lot of Sea Trot!

Then when the tide switched we headed over to the rock wall where we caught huge Snook and Redfish!

We are also thankful that the red tide did not do to much damage to the fishing!
