Sunday, 9/8/13, Captiva Fishing Report: Trigger fish offshore of Captiva Island. Sanibel, Captiva & North Captiva, #Captiva

Today, there was no fishing. So I decided to make a post about a rare catch that was made way back in February.

It was a chilly Captiva morning, and the water was calm, so I decided to go offshore to fishing for Snapper and Grouper.

While offshore of Captiva we caught a surprise, a Trigger fish! Trigger fish are rare in this area, so it was an exciting day! Thats the amazing thing about being a fishing guide, usually we pretty much know what we are going to catch in a particular sport, but it is always refreshing when we catch a surprise!
