Here are some photos from this weekend of Tim, one of my usual clients, with some nice fish that he caught in Blind Pass.

On Friday, I First took him and his son Charlie up to Boca Grande to go Tarpon fishing. Charlie hooked up on three nice fish, but was plagued with bad luck while trying to land the fish.

After Charlie lost the third fish we headed back to the usual Captiva area to fish for some of the regular stuff.

Than on Saturday we decided to stay around the Captiva. We fished Blind Pass for a while where Charlie caught five or six really nice Snook, and Tim caught a huge Redfish, a huge Flounder, and a few small Sea Trout.

Before we headed in we made a stop in Redfish Pass to do some Tarpon fishing the old fashion way, using crabs for bait.

During Saturdays full moon thousands of crabs were moving from the flats to offshore using the strong out going tide to hitch a ride. All sorts of fish feed on the crabs during these events such as Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and even Sharks.

So we scooped a few crabs out of the water using a net, and then attached them to the hooks of our Tarpon rods. We had one bite, but we failed to set the hook into him.

All in all, it was one fantastic weekend of fishing!
