On today’s Captiva fishing charter, we went inshore of Captiva Island to go shark fishing!

We quickly hooked into a 150 pound sandbar shark, which after we safely released his was quickly followed by another hook up with another large sandbar shark!

When you catch two huge shark within a 30 minute period, you have had an excellent day of fishing!

On today’s Captiva Island fishing charter, we headed to Redfish Pass.

We caught some nice Snook along the rocks.

Then we decided to up our game and go shark fishing!

We set out the shark lines and waited, and in no time at all, a huge bull shark comes and takes the bait!

After a good fight, we got him close to the boat so we could snap a few photos. Then, as always on captivafishing.net, we released the shark no worse for wear!

Since we still had some time, we headed to the grass flats where we just tore up the silver trout!

We are also enjoying a new trinket on captivafishing.net, a fish counter!  Our total fish count was 63 this morning, most of which were the silver trout and ladyfish, but still 63 is a good day’s fishing!

This week has been the best week we’ve seen in a very long time for big sharks, so if you want to catch yourself a giant shark, book your charter now!

And of corse if you are more interested in family fun, the snook, redfish, and sea trout have also been quite good!
