Hank, sunset, Captiva.

Fishing should be great this week with good moving tides and very few boats out during the week.

Red fishing should be good on the bay side of Sanibel and Captiva.  Cut ladyfish or mullet around the mangroves or oyster beds on the higher tides should get a bite.

Still lots of sharks & ladyfish on the beach side of Sanibel & Captiva.

Saturday, 9/24/11 … a lot of fish out there

Lot’s of action while fishing off the beach side off Sanibel & Captiva.

Mackerel, ladyfish, sharks, tarpon & grouper being caught while fishing in the gulf near shore & offshore.

There has been more action fishing off Captiva then Sanibel.

Caught the usual snook; they are still biting!

We also caught ladyfish & mackerel on the beach side of Sanibel & Captiva, along with many black tip sharks.

Thursday, 9/15/11 … the fish are biting

Spanish Mackerel are still biting!

Mackeral are biting well off the beaches of Sanibel & Captiva.

We’re also still hooking some black tip sharks.

There are many lady fish and trout to be caught on the bayside of Sanibel & Captiva.

Fishing is best in the mornings on the outgoing tide

Wednesday, 9/14/11 … slow time of year, but fished a nice tournament last weekend

Big snook 2, September Tournament, Sanibel & Captiva.

Continues to be slow and quiet … September may be the slowest time of the year on Sanibel and Captiva.

But the fishing is still very good!

We fished a tournament last Saturday & Sunday and caught lots of big snook and redfish around the inlets of Sanibel and Captiva.

Saturday, 9/3/11 … a lot of fish

Trout from April.

When we have been able to dodge the rain and had a charter, the fishing has been pretty good!

We caught many trout, lady fish, mackeral & jacks on the bayside of Sanibel & Captiva.

Also caught some snook while fishing between Sanibel & Captiva Island.

Another good day of charter fishing.

Wednesday, 8/31/11 … ended August with a good day of fishing

Redfish!

Rain abated today.

Fishing off Captiva & Sanibel today was great!

We were able to catch lots of lady fish & trout first thing this morning on the bayside of Captiva.

We then decided to go fishing for bigger fish between Sanibel & Captiva where we found lots of snook biting & one red fish for dinner.

Not bad for a three hour trip fishing off Sanibel & Captiva.
